Job Title

HIH - Software Engineering Manager – ABAP with EWM
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Senior Developer with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Decentralized EWM to manage team, design, develop, and optimize warehouse management solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable, high‑performance warehouse processes while adhering to clean core principles and modern SAP development standards.

Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for managing ABAP development teams, owning technical design and delivery across SAP landscapes (ECC / S/4HANA), and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure SAP custom developments. The role blends hands-on technical expertise with delivery governance, team leadership, and stakeholder management.

SAP EWM Development & Customization

< >Design, develop, and enhance SAP EWM solutions including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes and RF-MDK frameworks.Develop and enhance EWM-specific ABAP objects, including function modules, classes, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements. 

Integration & Interfaces

< >Develop and support integration between SAP EWM and S/4HANA modules (P2P, OTC).Design and troubleshoot IDocs, qRFCs and APIs for warehouse and logistics integration.Experience with Post Processing Framework (PPF)Analyze and optimize EWM performance, including queue processing, wave management, and background jobs.Monitor and tune warehouse processes to ensure high availability and throughput.Support data volume management and archiving strategies for EWM objects.Lead and support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for EWM developments.Provide production support, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex EWM issues.Support cutover, go‑live, and hyper care activities for EWM implementations and rollouts.Work closely with functional EWM consultants, business stakeholders, and onsite teams .Contribute to solution design documents, technical specifications, and best‑practice guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education:

< >Any bachelor’s degree11+ years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized) and experience managing or leading technical teams.Advanced ABAP development skills with exposure to object‑oriented ABAP.Strong understanding of warehouse business processes and logistics execution.Experience with IDoc/qRFC and EWM monitoring tools.SAP BTP SkillsExposure to S/4HANA migrations or EWM conversions.Experience following Clean Core and extensibility best practices.Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to EWM monitoring and analytics.Joule skills are a bonus
