HIH - Software Engineering Lead Analyst – SAP Dev Hybris/Commerce Cloud

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commerce cloudDeveloper with strong expertise.The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.

Job Overview:

The role contributes across the full development lifecycle—solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support—and partners closely with business, functional, and integration teams to deliver high‑quality applications

Responsibilities:

• Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery.
• Be hands-on in the design and development of robust solutions to hard problems, while considering scale, security, reliability, and cost.
• Support other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutions.
• Works with both onsite and offshore team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.
• Be part of a fast-moving team, working with the latest tools and open-source technologies.
• Work on a development team using agile methodologies.
• Understand the Business and the Application Architecture End to End.
• Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable and modular code.
• Participate in daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.
• Participate in code reviews. Ensure high code Quality of deliverables.
• Provide Impact analysis for new requirements or changes. Responsible for low level design with the team.

Education:

< >Develop tools/processes/standards to help IT teams deliver better solutions – it can involve some sample code development and influencing actions of others.Ensure that our solutions meet the security and compliance bars we set for ourselves. 5 to 8 years of Software Development experience, with 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Commerce as developer.Candidate must have worked on at least 2 implementations using SAP Commerce experience.Hands on development experience in Hybris e-commerce platform(B2B platforms) in hybris commerce cloud (CCV2).Strong hands-on experience in customizing Hybris based e-Commerce Applications, Hybris CMS and e-commerce suite(WCMS, Solr, CMS & Product Cockpit, Admin Console, CronJobs, ImpEx, Import/Export Service, Catalogs, Categories, Products, Integration Object)Experience in data modelling for B2B, business processesExperience integrating Hybris with ERP (SAP), payment gateways, SCPIHands on experience in Spring framework including spring-core, springMVC, spring-ws, spring-data, spring-security.Must have used REST/SOAP web services based systems. Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Java, J2EE Application Servers, Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX, JavaScript and XML technologies.Hands on experience in publishing and consuming web services.Expert in SAP CX (Hybris) Commerce cockpits, SmartEdit, integration techniques, code development/deployment cycle Follow best practices as per the SAP Commerce development guidelinesKnowledge of oData service is a plus
