Job Title:

HIH - Software Engineering Lead Analyst – ABAP with Vistex

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vistex Developer to design, develop, and support SAP Vistex (V/4) solutions on SAP S/4HANA. The role focuses on pricing, rebates, chargebacks, billbacks, contracts, product catalogs, and analytics, with strong ownership of custom development, integrations, data conversions, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

Vistex Solution Development

• Design, develop, and enhance Vistex V/4 solutions including:
  • Customer & Vendor Pricing
  • Rebates, Chargebacks, Billbacks, Deals
  • Contracts, Memberships, and Product Catalogs
• Develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms supporting Vistex business processes.
• Configure and enhance Vistex master data, condition records, agreements, and settlement processes.

Integrations & Interfaces

• Design and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and Vistex for pricing, agreements, and settlement processing.
• Develop and troubleshoot IDocs, APIs, and batch interfaces (e.g., pricing catalogs, EDI outputs, distributor integrations).
• Support data extraction and load processes using Vistex load transactions and migration objects for conversions and cutovers.

Reporting, Analytics & Fiori

• Develop Vistex reports, analytics, and dashboards including ViZi Analytics and custom reporting solutions.
• Build and support Fiori tiles and applications for Vistex‑related custom programs and data maintenance.
• Ensure proper security roles and authorizations for Vistex users and Fiori apps.

Performance, Testing & Support

• Optimize performance for high‑volume pricing, rebate, and chargeback processing.
• Lead unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support for Vistex developments.
• Provide production support, defect resolution, and root‑cause analysis for Vistex issues.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with business SMEs, functional consultants, security, data, and integration teams.
• Review functional and technical design documents (BRD, FSD, TDD).

Qualifications:

Education:

• Any bachelor’s degree

Technical Skills

• 5-8 years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP Vistex (V/4).
• Solid ABAP development skills (reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions).
• Experience with pricing, rebates, chargebacks, billbacks, and contracts in Vistex.
• Strong knowledge of Vistex data models, load programs, and settlement processes.
• Experience with IDocs, APIs, and batch integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or Vistex upgrades.
• Exposure to Fiori/UI5, Vistex security roles, and authorization concepts.
• Knowledge of EDI integration related to pricing and chargebacks.
• Familiarity with clean‑core principles and minimizing custom code footprint.
• Joule skills are a bonus.
