Software Engineering Lead Analyst
 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer with DevOps & AWS skills to join our dynamic engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS & Databricks. The role includes supporting DevOps engineering as well as contributing to AWS application development, especially for serverless and event‑driven architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Working expertise on data bricks (API, SDK, Workflows, Unity Catalogs, Service Principal)
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Build and maintain AWS cloud environments including EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, KMS, IAM, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, EventBridge, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB.
  • Manage container‑based workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, serverless, and event-driven systems.
  • Implement governance best practices including compliance‑as‑code, automated artifact generation, deployment quality gates, and operational readiness workflows.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in designing, building, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Hands‑on experience working with Databricks APIs, SDKs, Unity Catalog, Workflows, and Service Principals.
• Expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, KMS, IAM, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, EventBridge, RDS/PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Ability to build, package, and manage container workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, serverless applications, and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience implementing governance practices such as compliance‑as‑code, automated security and quality scanning, deployment quality gates, and operational readiness workflows.
• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM architecture, encryption standards, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and event‑driven design patterns.

Required Experience & Education: 

5–8 years of demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Databricks automation including Workflows, REST APIs/SDKs, Unity Catalog, and service principals.
  • Infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
  • AWS production workloads including serverless, containers, and event‑driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.

Desired Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
