Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Loss Control Engineer for Property and Transit exposures, you will work on secondment for Marsh clients, providing technical expertise on a regional basis to a cross section of client engineers and facilities team members to support loss control activities. You will assist in evaluating and prioritizing engineering solutions across the enterprise, communicate recommendations to key internal stakeholders and external entities with a focus on loss prevention, and collect and determine proper insurance underwriting data for global insurance marketing efforts. Additionally, you will support insurance claims related to property, construction projects, transit, and environmental losses, including managing third-party consultants and working with insurance adjusters.
We will count on you to:
- Provide technical expertise on loss control activities for Property and Transit exposures across the APAC region.
- Evaluate and prioritize engineering solutions and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collect and assess insurance underwriting data for facilities worldwide.
- Support insurance claims by gathering site event information, managing consultants, and collaborating with insurance adjusters.
- Assist the Risk Manager and Risk Management Team in tracking, negotiating, and settling insurance claims.
- Travel internationally as needed (once or twice per year for 2-3 weeks).
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of semiconductor facilities design engineering experience or similar industry experience.

- BCP (Business Continuity Planning) or ARM (Associate in Risk Management) certifications.
