This position is responsible for designing and developing the local strategy for Health Economics, Pricing and Reimbursement Plans aligned to marketing/commercial strategies, with a primary focus on oncology, based on the use of data by:

  • Creating  analytic models and data products that support the needs of Market Access

  • Generating and communicating insights based on analyses leading to meaningful business outcomes.

  • Creating/adapting Health Economics evaluations for new launches and implementing a continuous update of economic evaluations for core indications

  • Implementing reimbursement strategies and budget impacts to reduce time to market (especially for new launches); we will be able to achieve a broad market access for our products in the government market.

  • Manage the corresponding internal authorizations for the processes of adaptation, modification, and publication of our portfolio value propositions

  • Support the development of innovative access proposals that accelerate the penetration of our portfolio in the public & private market by providing data insights

  • Conduct Non-interventional Local Data Generation studies (LDGs) within market access scope and according to global SOPs

Qualifications

Education

  • Masters (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in health economics (3 to 5 years) preferable with oncology pipeline

  • Demonstrated quantitative experience and expertise in solving complex business challenges through modeling and simulation

  • Experience in developing Markov models, survival analysis and decision tree models

  • Mandatory knowledge in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)

  • Expertise and solid hands-on experience in the conceptualization, design, development, and dissemination of data products to enable internal and external decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of disciplines

  • Understanding of the market access environment and challenges in Mexico preferred

  • Strong understanding of what makes a model work

  • Strong knowledge of public data sources in Mexico

  • Good problem-solving skills and leadership in cross-functional projects

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills/ project management skills/ good command of English at a business level.

  • Excel and statistics expertise to handle health economics and data analysis.

  • Programming skills in R, Python and/or Visual Basic. (prefered)

  • Advanced level of english
