Job Summary: This National Guard position is for a HELICOPTER FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR EVALUATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2460P01 and is part of the FL SAO, National Guard.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. FLARNG BUS Code NG5022: This position is "included" in the bargaining unit and eligible for labor organization representation. Military Grades: Warrant Officer- CW2 thru CW4 NOTE #1: Applicants MUST submit a DA Form 759E. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS13 Must have at least 2-years' of specialized experience in civilian aviation or military service aviation programs; with at least two years specialized competencies in operating the CH47, HH 60 and UH 72 rotary wing military aircraft, as well as mission planning, and mission preparation; experience in reviewing and analyzing mission tasking, intelligence, and weather information; experience in filing flight plans and conducting crew briefings; experience in aircraft preflight inspections, aircraft loading, and equipment assessments; experience in performing or supervising work procedures involved in navigation, in-flight refueling, search and rescue operations or surveillance and reconnaissance.
