Position Overview:

The Journeyperson Mechanic is responsible for the service tasks on product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.g. Mini excavators and skid steers,) and Aerial Work Platform equipment.

Location: Lloydminster, Alberta
Schedule: Monday to Friday, will also include on-call shifts
Wage: $43.92 - $48.82/hour

Job Description:

  • Performs quality repairs to TCRS fleet of equipment
  • Solves problems from diagnosis to correction
  • Co-ordinates product repairs
  • Interfaces with customers in the field on service calls in a courteous, business-like manner

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic

  • Must possess the technical knowledge to perform service tasks on our product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.g. Mini excavators and skid steers,) aerial work platform equipment as well as knowledge of diesel generators 8 KW to 200 KW

  • Candidates must have proven experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing high‑amperage electrical equipment such as generators and submersible pumps within a rental fleet environment

Note:

  • Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work.

  • Capable of working evening, night shifts as well as performing after hours service calls, weekends inclusive
