Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs (possibility of remote locations)
Interface with customers, products and sales support
Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
Specific Skills & Experience:
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic (Agriculture, Truck & Transport and Automotive may be considered)
Valid class 5 drivers license with a clear drivers abstract
Dedication to safety
Self motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems are required
Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
Power generation experience would be considered an asset
Important Notes:
This position is based out of Tisdale, on a Monday - Friday schedule
A condition of employment may include the ability to wear a respirator and be fit tested
