Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
Starting 4:30am-1:00pm (Overtime as needed)

Responsibilities include:
- Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Performs maintenance related work as required.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required)
- 2+ year experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a diesel tech program
- Class B CDL OR the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
- Provide personal tools.
- Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information in English.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Frequently walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb stairs and ladders.
- Back, leg, arm and shoulder strength required to safely climb on and off vehicles in order to inspect and repair.
- Ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time; such as kneeling, crawling, or crouching. Be able to get up and down from a supine position. Able to work in tight spaces.
- Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
- The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
