Responsibilities:

• Setup, operate and maintain of Gas Nitride, Atmosphere and Vacuum Hardening processes.
• Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks.
• Enter all information on quality documents accurately and timely.
• Maintaining active certified machinist status.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place.
• Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used.
• Perform daily housekeeping and sustain 5S implementations.
• Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
• Notify the Supervisor of any furnace/machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing plant, preferably Heat Treat process.
• Work experience in heat treatment work environment is preferred but not necessary.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.
• Physically and mentally fit & willing to perform rotating shifts.
• Able to tolerate high temperature work environment
