A Healthtech Consultant is more than an EHR expert. Our consultants take ownership of their work and play a meaningful role in the success of our clients and our organization. We are seeking people who listen carefully, partner closely with clients, and recognize that every project and healthcare organization is unique. You will work on complex, high-impact initiatives that help healthcare organizations improve how they deliver care. Experience implementing Oracle Health is required and optimization initiatives is considered a strong asset.
Role Overview
The Healthtech Consultant provides consulting services to clients on Go-Live projects in an analyst, project management, project leadership, or training capacity.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise, client engagement, and collaborative problem-solving.
Work on the floor directly with physicians to help them navigate the Oracle Health/Epic systems
Work closely with the Integrations team and command centre to liaison between physician (end users) and IMIT Team members
Facilitate problem-solving between physician (end user) and development staff
Elbow support may involve helping physicians performs specific tasks in the Cerner system and give guidance or advice around optimizing efficiency
Training prior to go live to be provided to applicants to familiarize yourself with the Oracle health/Epic system and workflows
Have you on a timetable or schedule, with specific and dedicated time on site at the hospital
Previous, and recent go-live ‘at the elbow’ support for Oracle Health and/or Epic System implementation with physicians
Experience with Healthcare of medical terminology
Knowledge of basic computer concepts required
Proficient and knowledgeable of the Oracle health/Epic suite of applications is preferred
The ability to communicate effectively with physicians and an understanding of proper etiquette in healthcare settings
One must demonstrate the ability to be adaptable and flexible based on changing business and training environment needs
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is required
It is essential to cultivate effective working relationships and maintain excellent communication with other team members
Creative solving of technical problems – ensuring the ability to deliver integrations across a wide variety of system
Must have customer service focus and must be able to communicate with people at all levels of the organization both internal and external
