The Position
The Healthcare System Partner (HSP) is an empowered leader and the local face of Roche, working closely with system-level healthcare stakeholders including policymakers, regulators, and payers.
The HSP identifies shared purpose and value, co-creates solutions, and co-implements them across ecosystems, indirectly impacting outcomes for thousands of patients. By doing so, the HSP will be directly accountable to challenge and shape the healthcare system in the service of better health outcomes for more patients faster in a sustainable way to society
Your Impact:
- Partners with healthcare system stakeholders to drive healthcare system innovation and unlock possibilities to deliver value for the ecosystem and society
- Contributes to identifying, mapping, engaging, and managing ecosystem stakeholders.
- Acts as a trusted partner and the primary (but non-exclusive) point of contact between stakeholders and Roche. They share the stakeholder community's vision and values internally, prioritize and secure resources, and drive solutions that deliver outcomes more efficiently.
- Embodies the Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst (VACC) model, acting as both an external and internal catalyst and coach.
- Pull in expertise and resources locally and from the network as needed, including in collaboration with other Healthcare System Partners and Patient Journey Partners.
- Examines the individual ecosystem and catalyzes our ability to identify broader trends and patterns in healthcare systems.
- Bring outside insights into Roche to influence strategy and to share our expertise science, and knowledge with the ecosystem.
- Enable a mindset that leverages internal and external networks to create value, shares back, and scales.
- Acts on key decisions and opportunities and boldly stops any activity that is not adding value. With ability to say “No” to stakeholders when the value is not predictable/foreseen.
Who you are
- You hold bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Economics, or Business Administration. An advanced degree (health policy or MBA or postgraduate qualification in Life Sciences or related field) is a plus.
- You bring minimum 6–8 years of experience across Commercial, Market Access, Medical, or Marketing functions, with proven experience in cross-functional team leadership, and people management is a plus.
- You have deep understanding of the healthcare system, processes, and governance and strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization and customer experience excellence.
- You have excellent customer engagement and management skills and experience in cross-functional leadership, encompassing both formulating strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams, is desirable.
- You have practical understanding of digital innovation methodologies.
- You are system thinker and deep listener with high ability to understand and leverage digital means and tools for the benefit of all stakeholders is highly desirable.
- You have broad understanding of Roche’s present portfolio and future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions
- You are proficient in English is highly desirable for collaboration internally across the broader Roche enterprise.
