The Healthcare System Partner (HSP) serves as an empowered leader who drives change both externally and internally, operating through the Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst (VACC) model.

Your Opportunity

System Collaboration & Value Generation

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the trusted, primary point of contact for critical system-level stakeholders. This includes engaging with policy makers, regulators, payers (VSS, HI, MSA,...), Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs), NGOs, government agencies (MOH, SOH, scientific associations), and key private organizations that shape the Vietnamese healthcare ecosystem.

  • Co-creation & Innovation: Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation. This involves identifying opportunities and co-creating bespoke proposals and solutions specifically tailored to ecosystem needs to generate mutual value for society.

  • Ecosystem Management: Systematically identify, map, engage, and effectively manage relationships across the entire stakeholder ecosystem.

  • Internal Alignment & Resource Mobilization: Articulate the stakeholder community's value proposition internally to prioritize and secure necessary resources. Drive cross-functional solutions to ensure faster and impact results.

Ecosystem Analysis & Strategic Influence

  • Strategic Insight: Analyze individual ecosystems to serve as a catalyst for Roche in detecting broader healthcare system trends and patterns. Ensure this analysis and subsequent action are fully aligned with LMIC4 strategies (LTOs/MTOs/STOs).

  • External Perspective: Bring valuable perspectives from outside Roche to influence internal strategic direction while simultaneously leveraging Roche’s expertise, science, and knowledge to benefit the external ecosystem.

  • Empowered Leadership: Exhibit autonomous decision-making by incorporating local and network resources (including collaboration with other HSPs and Patient Experience Partners) as required to achieve system-level change.

. System Shaping and Strategic Influence

The HSP is responsible for actively driving change within the Vietnamese healthcare ecosystem.

  • Challenging and Shaping the System: Being directly accountable for challenging, proactively shaping, and negotiating changes in the healthcare system.

  • Driving Better Outcomes: Ensuring these system changes are in service of achieving better health outcomes for more patients, faster.

  • LMIC4 Alignment: Ensuring all activities and system influence are in strict alignment with LMIC4 strategies (Long-Term, Mid-Term, and Short-Term Objectives).

  • Strategic Insight: Serving as a catalyst for Roche by analyzing the individual ecosystem to detect broader healthcare system trends and patterns.

  • External Perspective: Bringing perspectives from outside Roche to influence internal strategy while leveraging Roche's expertise, science, and knowledge to benefit the ecosystem.

Value Co-creation and Innovation

The HSP must identify opportunities and collaborate to develop tailored solutions that create value.

  • Co-creating Solutions: Collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation and co-create bespoke proposals, projects, and solutions tailored to ecosystem needs.

  • Generating Value: Ensuring these co-created solutions generate value for society.

Stakeholder Engagement and Ecosystem Management

The HSP acts as the primary interface between Roche and critical external partners.

  • Trusted Point of Contact: Acting as the trusted primary (but not exclusive) point of contact for system-level stakeholders.

  • Broad Engagement: Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including policy makers, regulators, payers (VSS, HI), Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs), NGOs, government agencies (MOH, scientific associations), and key private organizations.

  • Systematic Management: Systematically identify, map, engage, and effectively manage the entire ecosystem stakeholder community.

Internal Alignment and Empowered Leadership

The HSP must secure internal resources and demonstrate empowered decision-making.

  • Internal Alignment & Resource Mobilization: Sharing the stakeholder community's vision and value internally to prioritize and secure necessary resources and drive cross-functional solutions for faster results.

  • Empowered Leadership: Operating as an empowered leader who acts as a Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst (VACC), incorporating local and network expertise and resources as needed.

Who you are

  • University degree (scientific, economics, or business degree
  • Healthcare System Expertise: Deep understanding of the Vietnamese healthcare system, its processes, and governance.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams is required.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Sector Experience: Relevant experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Language: English and effective communication skills are required.
  • Financial/Value Models: Experience in developing financial or clinical management value models.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Excellent management and customer interaction skills.
  • Health Impact Projects: Experience in developing and/or participating in health impact projects within insurance and/or service delivery ecosystems, working in high-performance teams.
  • Payer/Contracting Models: Experience in insurance and contracting models and the development of technical notes.
  • Negotiation: Proven experience in negotiation
