About the role


The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. In this role you will:

• Be responsible for patient minding duties
• Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
• Respond to aggression and emergency incidents as part of a restraint team
• Act as a customer service ambassador for both our customers and healthcare staff
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order.
• Ensure the personal safety of staff, visitors, and property

Skills & experience

• Current SA Security License and Driver's license
• Minimum current Certificate II in Security Operations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent observational and surveillance skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated
