At IQVIA, the Healthcare team works with hospitals, insurers, and public health administrations to help them better understand their organizations and support them in processes of improvement, innovation, and transformation. We do this by combining data analysis, organizational knowledge, and extensive experience in the sector.


Our projects range from data driven measurement and evaluation initiatives to strategic consulting projects such as digital transformation, clinical management, or the optimization of care processes. Always with a practical, collaborative approach focused on generating real impact in decision making and improving the functioning of the healthcare system.


We are looking for an Intern interested in the healthcare sector, eager to learn, and motivated to support our multidisciplinary team across a variety of data related and operational activities.

Responsibilities:
• Assist hospital inquiries regarding data, indicators, and the use of digital platforms.
• Support internal project teams with routine administrative tasks, documentation, and coordination activities.
• Contribute to the design, development, and execution of projects for healthcare organizations under close guidance.
• Perform basic quantitative and qualitative analyses of clinical, operational, and organizational data.
• Help identify trends and patterns in datasets to generate relevant insights.
• Assist in preparing high quality deliverables, including reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency before delivering outputs.
• Help build and improve internal pipelines and automation processes to increase efficiency across the team.
• Collaborate with clinical professionals and healthcare managers during working sessions or data related interactions.
• Learn, contribute, and grow within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Data/Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biomedical disciplines, or other related fields.
• Interest in the healthcare sector and in supporting clinical or organizational projects.
• Foundational experience or coursework related to data analysis, healthcare management, or process improvement
• Motivation to develop skills in client support, analytics, and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Word, Access).
• Clear written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Methodical, logical approach and strong attention to detail.
• Proactivity, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
