Single point of contact for all supply chain functions across a designated market, overseeing multiple acute, ambulatory, or ancillary service center entities. Coordinates with market senior leaders routinely to solve the organization's strategic logistical challenges and objectives. Attends routine market meetings to maximize conversion compliance and product capture accuracy, based on strategic priorities set by the organization’s senior leaders. Coaches subordinate directors and managers to oversee the full range of operations to include inventory management, product distribution, talent management, work assignments, and translating system-level goals into executable projects. Motivates and mentors leaders to build teams to properly stock, store, and issue material. Routinely assesses workload across market and reassigns supply chain responsibilities. Establishes and fosters culture of confidence and cooperation across site-level leaders, and department directors through robust leadership, and professional grade communication. Demonstrates leads by example and adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering support for optimal patient care. Prioritizes, schedules and delegates strategic projects and articulates departmental responsibilities to multiple market teams. Interacts with and monitors vendor performance on special orders and consignment when working with leaders. Researches and institutes best practices by implementing system-level standard workflows and innovates high-level processes, while developing plans of action to facilitate proper change management.Job Description:
Candidates with 7–10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a complex, multisite operation across both acute and ambulatory settings are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Divisional Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the Valley Division, which includes nine acute care hospitals, two medical foundations, and multiple surgery centers, spanning 145 miles.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Extensive knowledge of Materials Management/Supply Chain Management and other related functions in acute or alternate healthcare settings are required. Knowledge of healthcare products and equipment, inventory sources, alternate sources of supply and distribution systems, and new or emerging trends in the industry.
Ability to coordinate processes for numerous sites over a wide geographical area and to prioritize multiple demands and projects is critical. Ability to deal with complex situations and a large degree of variation in policies, rules, and regulations.
Project management and presentation skills are essential. Requires a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently to meet deadlines and implement projects.
Must be articulate and have written skills, presentation preparation and able to speak to large audiences, including management, physicians, and staff.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, multi-task, and personnel management skills.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness, and authority; possess the ability to motivate and engage others.

Pay Range is $77.70 to $124.32 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
