Position Summary

The Healthcare Data Analyst - Bundles plays a critical role in advancing reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives that support bundle business operations. This position works cross functionally with product, consulting, and operations teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence reporting frameworks, data models, and analytics solutions. The role is responsible for delivering timely, accurate insights that support monitoring of provider performance, payer activity, claims processing, bundle management, and utilization trends. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, a solid understanding of relational databases, and the ability to translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and client facing use cases.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reporting frameworks and analytics solutions
  • Build and optimize data models to support enterprise reporting and performance monitoring
  • Extract, transform, load, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Develop and optimize T SQL queries using views, stored procedures, functions, and indexing strategies
  • Design and maintain scalable BI dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI and related tools
  • Research data anomalies, identify root causes, and resolve reporting issues
  • Support consulting engagements and business development efforts through advanced analytics
  • Create, maintain, and socialize Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer
  • Educate stakeholders on available reports, analytics tools, and performance metrics

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, MIS, informatics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree with a focus in business analytics is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries is required
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis is required
  • 2+ years of experience using business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar platforms is required
  • Working knowledge of SSIS, ETL processes, and data cleansing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, data mining, and statistical analysis
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience with Python and familiarity with machine learning concepts
  • Preference for those with exposure to, or experience with, AI enabled or advanced analytics reporting solutions
  • Prior experience supporting consulting or client facing analytics engagements is preferred
