Overview:

As a Healthcare Compliance Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of procedures related to medical and promotional activities. You will provide critical assurance through ongoing monitoring, delivering actionable recommendations to local Compliance Officers. Additionally, you will help develop our compliance framework and champion a culture of integrity and ethical business practices in alignment with Roche's core values and external regulatory requirements.

The Opportunity

  • Master business processes involving Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organizations, Grants, Donations, and Sponsors across America's affiliates (Pharma, Diagnostics, Diabetes Care) to guarantee adherence to Industry Codes, Roche Group Directives, and local policies.

  • Conduct targeted compliance monitoring using reporting data and sample selections. Maintain meticulous records, communicate observations to local Compliance Officers, and escalate issues alongside proactive resolution plans.

  • Build strong relationships with affiliates and collaborators at all levels to boost service satisfaction, identify process optimizations, and recommend targeted staff retraining.

  • Support local Compliance Officer training while proactively driving process enhancements, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless alignment with Compliance Managers.

Who You Are

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field, accompanied by 3+ years of experience in internal/external audit, or compliance. (Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred).

  • You possess strong analytical, technical, auditing, and project management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading change, negotiating, and managing complex initiatives.

  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and highly professional. You bring excellent team-building, conflict resolution, decision-making, and customer service skills to the table.

  • You communicate, influence, and lead effectively at all levels in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus). You are also highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
