About the Role
• Drive health product innovation and an agile product innovation process
• Develop and promote new / existing protection products, to multi-channels to optimize new business profitability, customer needs and production growth
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive the full lifecycle of health innovation initiatives - from ideation, proposition design, and product development to market launch and performance optimization
- Act as the primary contact point across teams under Proposition Office (Health Propositions, UCare, Business Development) and other departments (IT and Operations) to ensure seamless execution of launching value proposition
- Leverage insights and data to design solutions that meet evolving health needs and enhance customer engagement, experience and journey
- Develop an agile product innovation process to work with cross-functional team to achieve a shorter development cycle
- As a product owner, define the product strategies and actively create / explore new product ideas for the relevant products to support multi-channels distribution
- Conduct focus groups or survey with customers and frontline to test new product ideas
- Lead the implementation and execution of the agreed product strategies and product plans to meet customer needs and competitive market environments
- Work with channels to deliver various product initiatives in order to meet business goals of multi-channels
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and new product initiatives for different customer segments and multi-channels to improve our completeness position
- Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to drive the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
- Lead the ad-hoc projects and other duties as required
- Coach and develop team members
Minimum Job Requirements:
- University graduate plus around 8 years (Senior Manager) / over 10 year (Associate Director) of working experience in the insurance industry
- Solid knowledge in health products
- All rounded experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning and project management
- Distribution channel experience covering both agency and bancassurance is preferable
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective staff coaching skill
