We are actively seeking a Health and Safety Analyst to join our team in Calgary. The Health and Safety Analyst will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Strathcona's Corporate Safety Systems. Reporting directly to the Team Lead of Corporate Safety Systems, this position is primarily focused on supporting the Enablon EHS platform and is responsible for Incident, Assurance, and Risk Management functions within the system.
Reporting and Analytics: Ensure all reporting within the Enablon platform is current, displaying critical business metrics. Assist end users with the creation of internal reports and collaborate with the Data Analytics team to foster ongoing improvements in corporate safety reporting.
Assurance Management: Oversee the assurance management function by creating and maintaining inspection checklists and audit protocols.
Master Data Management: Maintain master data hierarchies within Enablon and verify alignment with external data sources.
Incident and User Management: Handle user-reported issues, providing Level 1 to Level 3 support as needed. Manage access requests and monitor error messages to ensure prompt issue resolution.
System Support: Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot operational problems to maintain system stability and performance.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documents to track system configurations and develop support instructions for frequently occurring issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, EHS teams, and developers. Gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication among all parties.
System Sustainment and Management: Take a leading role in the ongoing sustainment and management of the system, working in partnership with third-party support services.
Needs Assessment and Project Management: Conduct needs assessments and manage projects to configure new functionalities or integrate the platform with other systems.
Change Management: Plan activities related to change management for updates or new functions, including facilitating stakeholder feedback sessions, developing and delivering training, and organizing meetings as required.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with large loss management software platforms, such as Enablon, Intelex, or Cority, with preference given to those who have direct experience using Enablon.
Additionally, the candidate should possess previous experience working with health and safety datasets, demonstrating a solid understanding of the data relevant to the role.
Experience in a support role is essential, as this position demands strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions within the organization.
Success in this position requires exceptional skills in planning and organizing, meticulous attention to detail, effective time management, clear communication, and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting.
