The Opportunity
Are you a visionary leader passionate about shaping the future of Patient Safety? In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage the PV Regional Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacovigilance (PV) and Device Vigilance activities across the Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA) region. You will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence, upholding regulatory compliance, and integrating regional clinical safety activities in a complex, global environment.
Working in partnership with Affiliate Patient Safety and Global Leadership, you will contribute to the broader Patient Safety Operations (PSO) strategy. Your leadership will ensure that our safety processes are not only compliant but also innovative, leveraging data-driven insights and digital transformation to protect patients worldwide.
Lead and inspire a multi-site regional team, acting as a catalyst for a quality- and customer-centric culture.
Oversee the operationalization of safety processes to ensure full compliance with global Roche standards and local regulations.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation by embedding technological advances like AI and digital analytics into safety operations.
Ensure inspection and audit readiness for all regional activities, maintaining a robust business continuity plan.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate regionalized clinical safety activities and achieve shared global objectives.
Foster a culture of growth and empowerment, adopting the VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leadership style to develop future talent.
Represent the PV function with external parties, including regulators, ensuring Roche’s reputation for excellence remains unmatched.
Who You Are
You are a strategic thinker and a servant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and are motivated by the opportunity to lead large-scale operational changes that have a real impact on patient lives.
You hold a Health Care Professional Degree (Medical, Pharmacy, or equivalent professional experience).
You bring 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, with at least 5 years in significant PV leadership roles.
You have a proven track record in managing multi-country or regional operations within a large, complex organization.
You are a VACC leader, committed to inclusive behaviors and developing high-performing, diverse teams.
You possess deep technical expertise in GVP, ICH-GCP, and global regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA).
You are an exceptional communicator, able to influence stakeholders and convey complex information clearly in English.
You have a growth mindset, eager to experiment with new technologies and take smart risks to improve operational efficiency.
