What You’ll Be Doing
The Head of Treasury Management Sales delivers strategic vision and national leadership to advance the growth and development of CIBC Bank USA’s treasury management sales organization. This role is pivotal in driving fee revenue and deposit growth, as well as client acquisition across the Commercial Bank and other business units. The incumbent will spearhead transformational change to align with the strategic vision of the Bank, champion overall client and revenue growth, ensure alignment with risk management objectives, and strengthen CIBC’s relationships with existing clients. The team consists of cash management sales professionals dedicated to delivering a comprehensive suite of treasury solutions working closely with the client service and product teams.

How You’ll Succeed
Lead and Develop Teams – Lead and develop a high-performing treasury management sales organization focused on delivering deposit growth and treasury revenue through new business development and client expansion.
Drive Sales Strategy – Establish clear sales goals, production expectations, and accountability frameworks aligned to overall bank and business objectives.
Foster Client Relationships – Build a client-focused sales culture emphasizing professionalism, collaboration, and ethical conduct, while ensuring client needs are proactively assessed and met.
Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with Commercial Banking, Product Management, Technology, and Operations to ensure treasury management capabilities support client needs and the bank’s broader strategy.
Innovate and Optimize – Identify market trends, competitive threats, and product opportunities to drive innovation and differentiation, and optimize client coverage and resource alignment.
Champion Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience, optimize onboarding and servicing, and provide feedback to key partners.
Ensure Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure all internal and client dealings align with CIBC policies, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
You can demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in treasury management, commercial banking, or a related financial services environment. Deep understanding of treasury management products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
It's an asset if you're a certified professional in treasury management (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional - CTP).

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $250,000.00 - $325,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave and Vacation), Holidays and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
