About the role

AGL has a new opportunity for a Head of Transformation.

You will lead the execution of AGL’s enterprise transformation agenda, stepping into a mature program environment with established governance and strong executive visibility. This role is accountable for accelerating delivery, strengthening ELT engagement and ensuring transformation initiatives translate into tangible enterprise outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will operate at the centre of complex, high‑profile programs, acting as a critical bridge between the Transformation Office, Executive Leadership Team and Group General Managers.

The Transformation Office is a central enterprise function responsible for portfolio governance, program management, change and continuous improvement across AGL. With core frameworks and cadence in place, the focus now is on lifting execution, deepening stakeholder alignment and strengthening enterprise communication and financial discipline across a diverse and evolving stakeholder landscape.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage complex, enterprise‑wide programs of work, ensuring delivery momentum, disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Act as a senior liaison between the Transformation Office, ELT and Group GMs, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and influencing at the most senior levels.
  • Drive strong portfolio, program and financial management, including cost oversight, benefits tracking and alignment across Opex, Capex and commercial priorities.
  • Strengthen partnerships with Finance, Strategy, Technology, Procurement and Corporate Affairs to ensure integrated delivery and clear enterprise communication.
  • Elevate executive‑level reporting, governance forums and strategic messaging, supporting informed decision‑making and Board‑level visibility.

What you will bring:

  • Deep experience in business transformation or enterprise improvement and change management, with strong capability in portfolio and program management.
  • Proven ability to influence and operate credibly with General Managers and Executive leadership, including navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience across budgeting, cost management, and understanding Opex, Capex, Risk and broader financial drivers.
  • Exceptional communication and engagement skills, with the ability to bridge strategy, execution and enterprise‑wide storytelling.
