The Head of Traffic & Revenue is a senior FP&A leader responsible for driving enterprise‑wide understanding of Swift messaging and revenue performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities. The role combines advanced financial analytics, market insight, and strategic partnership to inform executive decision‑making, optimise revenue outcomes, and support long‑term value creation. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Head of FP&A and the CFO, you will ensure clear, timely, and actionable insights across revenue, messaging traffic, market dynamics, and growth levers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Strategy & Market Opportunity Leadership

Lead the financial assessment of revenue growth opportunities across markets, products, and client segments. Evaluate revenue potential, P&L impact and key risk drivers. Shape revenue strategies that maximise long‑term value creation and align with company priorities.

2. Executive Insight & Stakeholder Engagement

Lead high impact discussions with senior internal and external stakeholders to gather and challenge market intelligence. Build a robust, data driven understanding of customer needs, competitor activity, and macro market developments.

3. Traffic & Volume Analytics Oversight

Oversee analysis of FIN, ISO 20022, and other messaging traffic across Payments, Securities, and Treasury. Monitor daily/monthly trends, anomalies, peak days, and structural shifts; assess drivers (e.g., geopolitical tensions, market volatility, index rebalancing, regulatory changes). Translate messaging patterns into growth opportunities, risk signals, and commercial implications.

4. Revenue Performance Management & Forecasting

Own enterprise revenue performance frameworks covering growth, mix, pricing effectiveness, profitability, and competitiveness. Drive forecasting accuracy through volume‑linked models and scenario analysis; surface performance gaps and define corrective actions or strategic pivots.

5. Executive‑Level Insights

Prepare and deliver high‑impact traffic, products and market insight reporting to Head of FP&A and the CFO. Clearly articulate revenue drivers, market trends, risks, and forward‑looking insights, ensuring leadership has full visibility on financial health and growth levers.

6. Leadership of Cross‑Functional Insight Initiatives

Act as a senior FP&A leader on cross‑functional strategic initiatives related to revenue growth and market performance. Lead and mentor teams of analysts across markets and disciplines, ensuring analytical rigour, strategic alignment, and consistently high‑quality insight delivery.

7. Commercial Enablement

Ensure robust financial tools are in place to support revenue predictability and conversion, including revenue forecasting frameworks, and value‑based analytics. Partner closely with Business Development, Product, and Strategy to strengthen commercial execution.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in FP&A, revenue analytics, commercial finance, or strategy, including leadership of multi‑disciplinary analytical teams

  • Proven ability to influence senior management and executive level decisions with insight‑driven analysis

  • Strong expertise in revenue modelling, forecasting, and performance management

  • Experience leading high‑performing analytical teams across functions or geographies

  • Fluent in English; excellent executive communication and storytelling skills

  • High accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail; able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and lead teams through ambiguity

  • Collaborative and culturally aware; effective in cross‑functional and multicultural settings
