ROLE PURPOSE
You’ll already possess stellar craft skills and a voracious cultural curiosity. You’ll be an accomplished pitch leader, comfortable articulating compelling brand narratives to varied audiences, and an awarded advocate for creative effectiveness in all its guises. You’ll be someone who simplifies complexity, presents charismatically, and inspires creatives.
You will be an experienced brand strategy expert, comfortable working closely with a multi-disciplinary team across brand, social, influencer, content and CX. You will have a clear perspective on what drives client business forward – and you’ll originate and adapt to match those business needs. The right candidate will manifest their brand strategies into creative ideas across any medium.
The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the Creative leadership in shaping the growth and culture of a dynamic and evolving strategy department. We’re looking for someone who will enjoy nurturing and inspiring the DC MENA strategic community, with the drive to create the conditions necessary for collaborative, integrated, and innovative work.
Ultimately, we’re looking for someone with the passion, authority, and experience to challenge client assumptions and push for the most remarkable, effective, and creative work – and have fun while doing it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set the strategic direction of our clients in MENA across any medium and channel
Working closely with creatives to develop award-winning creative ideas that drive business growth
Push the overall quality of DC’s strategic and creative output, in partnership with creative and business leadership
Support and lead new business opportunities
Generate new organic growth opportunities on existing clients in partnership with wider agency leadership
Build and mentor diverse strategic thinkers and contribute to the culture of the agency. You will lead by example and inspire other team members
Form strong client partnerships, helping to guide and challenge clients across all areas of the business
Create and manage effectiveness frameworks, and to write case studies for the most successful campaigns
As well as delivering for MENA there will be opportunities to work on global projects
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
A sparkling intellect, boundless optimism, strong opinions, the courage to lead with authenticity and the confidence to listen attentively
Brand strategy experience from a top agency including the KSA and MENA region.
Projects will be diverse, ranging from integrated brand campaigns to consultancy projects and new product & service development. As such, this role requires someone as adept at running workshops as at briefing campaigns
Evidence of working across truly integrated campaigns on big and small budget clients
Experience within value proposition development and consultancy for NPD
Track record of working with research partners to develop effective methodologies for research
Passion and drive to create innovative work for the world’s most iconic brands
