WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

The Head of Strategic Product Enablement role is a strategic partnership position responsible for co-owning critical CPO-driven priorities and ensuring execution with substance, rigor, and accountability across the product management organization.

This role owns the strategic content, quality, and business impact of what the PM organization produces—roadmaps, business cases, strategy documents, and major product decisions. By establishing standards for product planning artifacts and providing direct quality control on all PM outputs, this role ensures product managers deliver consistent, high-quality work aligned to strategic vision and market reality.

As the CPO's primary strategic partner, this role actively engages in strategic thinking, challenges assumptions, and serves as a second set of eyes on major product decisions on a day-to-day basis. This position is essential to elevating PM consistency and quality across the organization and ensuring strategic initiatives translate into disciplined execution and measurable business outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Strategic Partnership & Co-Ownership

  • Co-own critical CPO-driven initiatives, actively shaping strategic thinking, challenging assumptions, and driving outcomes with accountability for business impact.
  • Serve as the CPO's strategic thought partner on major product decisions across the PM portfolio, providing counsel and perspective on a day-to-day basis.

Quality Control & Artifact Governance

  • Establish and enforce standards for product planning artifacts—roadmaps, business cases, strategy documents—reviewing all major outputs with a critical eye for strategic coherence and business impact.
  • Drive quality improvement across PM teams through direct feedback on substance, identifying gaps in strategic thinking, and ensuring consistency in execution.

Strategic Content Ownership

  • Shape the content and outcomes of critical strategic sessions and planning cycles, ensuring the right questions are asked and decisions are grounded in market intelligence.
  • Own strategic initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring follow-through on decisions and accountability for delivering business impact.

WHAT WE VALUE

Product Management Leadership & Operating Model Expertise

  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, with deep understanding of world-class PM organization operating models, rituals, artifacts, and culture from having led or shaped product teams at scale.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise in PM discipline—how to build strategic clarity, establish quality standards, drive accountability, and cultivate a culture of rigor and excellence.

Strategic Partnership & Influence

  • Demonstrated experience as a strategic partner to senior leaders, influencing organizational strategy through analytical rigor and market insight.
  • Strong ability to challenge assumptions constructively, identify gaps in strategic thinking, and elevate the rigor of product planning and decision-making.

Quality Ownership & Execution Excellence

  • Demonstrated capability to assess strategy quality, establish standards, enforce discipline across product organizations, and drive improvement through coaching.
  • Ability to coordinate complex initiatives across teams, remove barriers, and maintain momentum on strategic priorities.

Communication & Stakeholder Influence

  • Proficient communication skills with ability to articulate strategic rationale to C-suite executives, product leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to influence product leaders across the organization and shape outcomes through strategic guidance.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $241.000 – $362.000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
