Description
The Head of Solution –Neuro leads product and commercialization initiatives in the Asia Pacific & Japan region. This includes providing strategic guidance on pricing and positioning, driving product marketing, and offering product expert support for the clusters. The role oversees commercialization from launch through the entire lifecycle, identifying opportunities for tailored commercial offerings and packages to bring new products to market and sustain their competitiveness over time. Additionally, the position guides localization efforts across clusters to ensure regional relevance and adoption, and acts as the market data champion, maintaining accurate and actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. The role will be the bridge to global Neuro team both in receiving product and commercialisation information and provide feedback from region to global Neuro team on customer’s insights and region needs and requests.
Strategic Marketing & Positioning
Develop and maintain a strategic marketing plan for the Neuro portfolio, including market assessment, objectives, and activity plans in collaboration with Regional Sales & Marketing and Global BL teams.
Provide strategic guidance on pricing, positioning, bundling, and competitive differentiation tailored to regional and cluster needs.
Define value propositions and messaging based on customer needs and market dynamics; drive proof point generation with global teams and customer advocates.
Translate positioning and value proposition into communication concepts for sales enablement tools (e.g., case studies, campaigns, events).
Commercialization Leadership
Lead commercialization strategy across the product lifecycle—pre-launch, launch, and post-launch.
Drive market access initiatives in collaboration with local health authorities (e.g., MOH) and key stakeholders to support reimbursement, funding approval, and insurance listing strategies across priority markets.
Proactively initiate and lead reimbursement-related programs, including health economic value articulation, and engagement with policy makers in partnership with global and regional teams.
Partner with Regional Sales, Medical, and Global teams to translate market access achievements into sustainable commercial uptake.
Market Intelligence & Localization
Act as the market data champion, maintaining accurate insights to guide strategic decisions.
Provide guidance on localization efforts across clusters to ensure regional relevance and adoption.
Support region and clusters to provide markets/products feedback to Global team to drive portfolio shaping and improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Ensure alignment with the global Neuro team for product development and strategy.
Act as the primary escalation point to global teams for product-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Serve as the interface for clusters, handling complaints and communicating product improvement requests to global teams.
Guide and support clusters in localization efforts, including co-developing marketing programs and campaigns tailored to local needs.
Train cluster sales and product specialists on product positioning, objection handling, and solution expertise to strengthen adoption.
Be the product and solution expert in the region to support sales engagements and influence adoption with strategic stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, C-suite).
University Degree – preferably with technical background, Graduate degree preferred
More than 10 years of experience in a regional marketing role and preferably with leadership role exposure
Deep understanding of the Neurosurgery, Radiotherapy market, products and clinical usage
Track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments
Persistent and persuasive behaviour to own and drive cross-functional collaboration
Ability to serve as a product evangelist and communicate the long-term vision for the product line
Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset – not shying away from doing groundwork when needed
Proven project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English, written and verbal
Willing to travel up to 70% of time
