The Head of Site Supply Chain OperationalServices leads site supply chain operations support function across the site supply chain, including process improvement, compliance, and service delivery. This role ensures the site supply chain operates efficiently and meets both regulatory and business standards through effective management of change controls, review boards, implementation plans, and project activities within scope.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for the selection, performance, and ongoing development of direct reports through regular feedback, setting goals, establishing personal development plans, measuring performance, and creating a readiness pipeline for future leadership roles.
2. Strategically manage the team in compliance with company’s policies and vision. Manages
troubleshooting activities including systematic resolution of problems, coordination of teams,
resources, and communication of progress to appropriate management personnel, always ensuring that the customer needs are met.
3.Act as the Kankakee entry point for global functions to establish plans to support market launches, product/market phase outs, validation and/or clinical trial material, and potential 3rd party material demands.
4. Lead the materials lifecycle process for direct materials, including plasma and packaging, in the development, design and maintenance of all direct materials to ensure Kankakee meets with regulatory, quality, customer and manufacturing requirements.
5. Lead and effectively manage the Materials Review Board. Facilitation of weekly meetings, ensure participation of the appropriate attendees, drive and influence the cross functional team to make evidence based, clear and timely decisions associated with the lifecycle of materials.
6. This role will project manage and oversee the management of all vendor material changes for the Kankakee site. Lead cross functional SMEs to ensure all vendor change notifications are addressed in a quality compliant, timely and cost-efficient manner.
7. Management of all new product introductions for the Kankakee manufacturing site. Liaise with global commercial teams and co-ordinate local SME’s across, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering to develop & execute plans for introduction of new products to the KAN site to meet new customer and new market requirements. Ensure all new product introductions are delivered in a compliant timely and cost-effective manner.
8. Acts as owner for the local Supply Chain quality records and facilitates weekly quality records review meeting to ensure compliance with the company’s procedures.

10. Complies with requirements from CSL Behring’s Safety and Quality Compliance Programs. Ensures their direct reports executes in the systems as well.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Education:
- BA/BS degree preferred, in management or technical field or Associate degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience 7 years of Operations, Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience preferred, including 3+ years working in a highly regulated environment.
The expected base salary range for this position at hiring in the state of Illinois is $146,000 - $172,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
