Saab Naval Security Department is looking for a Head of Security Office.
The Head of Security Office at Naval is responsible for ensuring the delivery and continuous development of all administrative security tasks within the business area, with a strong focus on quality and execution.
As Manager, you will report to Head of Security and lead a team of Security Generalists and Specialists. You will in this role develop, implement and maintain processes, methods and tools. You are a part of the daily operations and support your team with operative tasks when needed.
You will represent Naval Security in several forums and cooperate closely within the Naval Security Management Team as well as working with other relevant functions and our business operations. As we are a multi-domestic company, we work in an international context which will require national and international travel.
You will liaise and collaborate extensively internally and externally.
Business Area Naval provides the most efficient platforms on and under the sea, both for the military and civilian domain. The portfolio covers submarines, surface ships, combat boats, under-surface vessels, torpedoes and more. Within Saab Security, we have anchored a Saab wide ambition to become world leading in security risk management and to be referred to by other security professionals as the company having the best practices in place.
The security function at Business Area Naval is a team consisting of competences such as security managers, information security specialists, security protection specialists and security administrators. You will work with all our business units, our businesses outside Sweden and collaborate with the other business areas at Saab.
To be successful in this role we believe you have extended previous experience in security administration, transformation journeys and multifaceted international roles (or similar).
You can take responsibility for your own area and understand how your part contributes to the greater good. You are a true team player who can lead your team towards common goals through active and present leadership.
To take on the challenge as Head of Security Office you have competence acquired through work life experience. You are a socially skilled person who easily builds relationships and collaborates both within and outside of the company. You are comfortable in making decisions and have a high degree of integrity.
You take pride in your area of interest, and you stay informed about changes in legislation and requirements within your field of responsibility.
Desired skills:
Several years of experience working with government authorities, including knowledge of the Security Protection Act, and/or experience from a global company with a solid understanding of security-related aspects within business processes
Comfortable taking on broad responsibilities and making well-founded decisions
Strong analytical skills combined with a keen attention to detail
Good communication and diplomatic skills
Personal qualities will be of the outmost importance, and it is paramount that you are trustworthy and have strong ethics.
You understand the need for balanced security in a business-driven environment. As a Manager at Saab Naval, you are likely to get in contact with classified information. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
