About the Team

The Retail Experience team is where our design philosophy leaves the screen and hits the street. We don’t do "stores" in the traditional sense; we build physical portals into the Nothing ecosystem. We are currently solving the challenge of how to scale a premium, tactile brand experience across vastly different global markets—from London to Delhi—without losing our soul to corporate standardisationWe’re moving away from the clinical, cold aesthetic of legacy tech and building spaces that feel human, warm, and intentionally designedThis team is responsible for making sure that when someone touches a Nothing product for the first time, it feels like the future.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the global retail vision by designing and scaling physical environments that challenge how tech is usually sold.

  • Own the commercial success of our physical footprint, balancing world-class design with rigorous ROI and 150% growth targets.

  • Architect the end-to-end retail journey, ensuring every touchpoint from the shop front to the Essential Operating System is seamless.

  • Collaborate with global partners and distributors to ensure the Nothing brand remains sharp and uncompromised in third-party environments.

  • Direct the physical launch strategy for new products like Phone (3), ensuring our community can experience them on day one.

  • Scale and mentor a high-performing team that values direct action over static planning.

  • Build the operational framework for retail excellence, from visual merchandising standards to in-store staff training programmes.

 

What We're Looking For

  • You have led retail experience or creative direction for a global brand that prioritises design and community.

  • A track record of taking total ownership of complex projects, moving from a blank page to a physical launch at high speed.

  • You have a sharp eye for detail and an obsession with excellence, ensuring every fixture and fitting reflects our design language.

  • Deep experience managing multi-million dollar budgets with a pragmatic approach to getting the most out of every $1M spent.

  • The ability to communicate a clear point of view to leadership and partners without relying on corporate jargon or filler.

  • A background in navigating the complexities of global supply chains and construction timelines to deliver on time, every time.

  • You believe tech should be fun and are driven to create spaces that spark genuine emotion in our customers.

 

How We Work

We build better tech by moving fast. That speed demands direct collaboration and shared creative energy. We believe the best work happens when we're together.

  • Location: London (Kings Cross & Farringdon offices).

  • Working Pattern: This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days a week). We move fast, and that means being physically present. We design flexibility around personal needs, but we focus on the magic that sparks when we’re all in the same room.

  • Commute: We ask that you live within a 60-minute commute of your home office location.
