Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

1. Regional Strategy & Performance Management

  • Develop and drive regional sales KPIs, including revenue growth, subscriber acquisition, ARPU improvement, retail productivity, and distribution expansion.

  • Provide periodic performance updates to senior management, clearly articulating market context, business opportunities, performance gaps, and recovery plans.

  • Identify long-term and mid-term regional sales, retail, and channel strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.

  • Analyze competitive landscape and consumer trends to refine regional business direction.

2. Retail & Channel Development

  • Lead performance across all retail formats including company-owned stores, dealer outlets, partner retail, and indirect channels.

  • Drive retail productivity improvements through footprint optimization, conversion enhancement, merchandising standards, and frontline capability development.

  • Establish performance measurement frameworks, processes, and tools to enhance effectiveness across retail and trade channels.

  • Strengthen dealer engagement and distributor performance to maximize market penetration and brand presence.

  • Ensure consistent retail execution standards, branding compliance, and customer experience across all outlets.

3. Field Force & Operations Leadership

  • Manage and optimize field sales force resources with clear performance management structures, KPIs, and governance.

  • Implement structured coaching, capability development, and productivity improvement initiatives for frontline teams including retail staff.

  • Ensure operational excellence in execution across retail stores, trade partners, distributors, and regional touchpoints.

4. Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Champion excellent customer experience across all regional touchpoints, especially retail stores and service centers.

  • Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to improve service standards, NPS, and complaint resolution turnaround time.

  • Monitor service quality performance and implement corrective actions where required.

5. Budget & Commercial Governance

  • Plan and manage regional sales, retail, and promotion budgets effectively to deliver targeted revenue growth and ROI.

  • Ensure disciplined investment decisions across retail expansion, incentives, and promotional activities with clear performance tracking.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Talent Development

  • Collaborate with Human Resources to identify capability gaps, succession planning needs, and leadership development programs for regional retail and sales teams.

  • Present comprehensive regional business reviews covering opportunities, challenges, initiatives, and support required from management to achieve targets.

  • Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values and strategic priorities.
