Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and transformational Head of Outsourced and Tech Services to join our Global Procurement team. Reporting to the Director, People and Professional Services, you will lead the global strategy for all externally managed operational processes and technology services.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for a complex portfolio that spans Customer Excellence (CX), HR Operations, Finance BPO, and the full spectrum of Technology Services. You will manage a high-performing team of individual contributors (ICs) primarily based in India, serving as a strategic partner to global business units. Your mission is to elevate Iron Mountain’s procurement organization to a "best of breed" level of performance, directly influencing our Commercial Collaboration and Supplier Diversity programs.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Strategic Category Leadership Direct the global strategy for the Outsourced and Tech Services portfolio. You will consolidate the supply base into a managed group of preferred partners, ensuring seamless operational continuity across BPO and Tech services while delivering significant cost-take-out and quality improvements.
  • Responsibility 2: Commercial Collaboration & "Balance of Trade" Serve as a primary architect of Balance of Trade (BoT) opportunities. You will partner with Commercial and Sales leadership to identify and leverage reciprocal business relationships, ensuring that our key service providers are also utilizing Iron Mountain’s RIM, Data Centre, and Digital Solutions.
  • Responsibility 3: Cross-Functional Advisory Act as a key advisor to Technology, Operations, HR, and Global Business Services. You will navigate the full spectrum of tech engagements from "thinking-intensive" strategic advisory and digital transformation roadmaps to "hands-on" execution, software implementation, and managed services.
  • Responsibility 4: Governance, Risk & Compliance Establish robust governance for complex Managed Services, Statement of Work (SoW) and Time & Materials (T&M) engagements. You will partner with Legal, Risk, and Security to lead data-driven risk/reward decision-making, ensuring all third-party delivery meets Iron Mountain’s rigorous standards for data privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Responsibility 5: Team Leadership & Performance Excellence Lead and mentor a global team of ICs, fostering a culture of performance excellence. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of services, from initial vendor selection to ongoing SLA accountability and supplier relationship management (SRM).

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or IT operations, with a proven track record in managing large-scale Outsourcing (BPO) and Technology Services categories.
  • Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of the tech services landscape, including Cloud Architecture, Software Implementation (ERP/CRM/HCM), Cybersecurity services, and AI/Data Engineering delivery models.
  • Strategic Influence: Proven ability to influence leaders at all levels to implement end-to-end procurement policies and governance frameworks, specifically within complex global service models.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong experience in identifying and executing Balance of Trade or commercial partnership strategies that drive mutual value between an organization and its supply base.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or Finance (Master’s degree or professional certifications like CPSM or MCIPS are a plus).

You will oversee a category that includes:

  • Outsourced Services: Customer Excellence (CX), HR Operations (Payroll/RPO), Finance BPO (P2P/O2C), and Document & Content Digitization.
  • Tech Services: Strategic Tech Advisory, Professional Services (Custom Dev/Systems Integration), Managed Services (AMS/Infrastructure), and Software Implementation (Workday/Salesforce/ServiceNow).
  • Resource Models: Management of both outcome-based SoW engagements (Pods/Squads) and T&M staff augmentation.
