Marketing & Sales activities

  • Implementing Sales & marketing strategies for OPT
  • Product positioning, Competitive pricing analysis.
  • Manage key account build KOL’s in the region
  • Planning and implementation of events and road shows/ CME’s
  • Reporting on market intelligence
  • Support sales team with bundling tools and complex sales
  • Market access plan for various FOB’s, periodic assessment, and improvement plans.
  • Manage professional networks at all levels of the global, regional, affiliate organizations

Financials

  • Meet the territory sales goals and objectives
  • Achieve and exceed target in all product division
  • Ensure profitability within the given territory and segment.

Operations

  • Forecast & Inventory Management (Ensuring optimum use/ circulation of demo)
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels with reduction in write offs of stock
  • Work closely with inventory planner to ensure sufficient inventory to meet customers’ demands
  • Improve and review ordering / delivery processes of consumables
  • Improvement of sales process by adapting to right sales tools
  • Demo planning and management of Demo stock
  • Recruit, develop, provide coaching to employees in the business
  • Develop effective organisational culture for people to be motivated and perform
  • Conduct and document regular performance reviews and an annual review as well as regular personal/career development discussions with direct reports, in line with Zeiss performance management process

Sales & Customer Relationships 

  • Visit existing and prospective customers regularly
  • Spend at least 40% of the time out of the office visiting KOLs and customers
  • Demonstrate excellent sales skills and makes effective use of sales aids
  • Good knowledge of competition and report competitive activities
  • Ensure that the company achieves its customer satisfaction objectives at all times – NPS / CPO scores

Collaboration with team members

  • Drive performance and motivate the members of your team
  • Foster teamwork among the team members and cross-divisional
  • Communicate openly and create a feedback culture with your team members
  • Coaching the sales/ product management teams

Education

  • University degree in Medical, Ophthalmology, Science, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales Management / Business Development in the medical device industry, preferably with ophthalmic products
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
