As our Head of Media and Markets, you’ll play a prominent role shaping how Australian’s understand global and local markets, helping them invest with confidence. This is a prominent leadership role where your insights and voice will directly contribute to CommSec’s customer-centric strategy, fostering both education and trust. This role reports directly to CommSec’s Chief Operating Officer.
In this role, you will lead the CommSec Media and Markets team to deliver insights and content to customers as they traverse the journey of self-directed investing. You will help inspire, educate, and empower customers, broadening their understanding of investing and the possibilities it creates.
You will play a key part in interpreting developments from Global markets, ensuring their relevance to Australian investors, while also partnering closely with colleagues across CommSec to bring financial insights to life. By contributing content across CommSec platforms, you’ll translate complex share market trends into clear and engaging insights that help Australians make informed financial decisions. Representing CommSec in the media, you’ll become a trusted voice, sharing analysis that is authentic, engaging, and accessible.
Your expertise will also enhance client initiatives, from tailored presentations to high-value customer events, where your perspective will strengthen relationships and build confidence.
You will guide a talented team, fostering a culture where collaboration, growth, and shared achievement are central. By providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership, you will influence and contribute to CommSec’s strategy. You will also create transparency within the team by translating goals into objectives, key results, and quarterly initiatives. Additionally, in collaboration with the Brand and Marketing team, you will monitor marketing campaign results, recommend modifications to improve outcomes.
You’ll oversee budget management with care and precision, ensuring all financial decisions align with organisational expectations. By identifying and addressing key risks and obligations, you’ll deliver outcomes safely and responsibly. In addition, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, strengthening collaboration and trust across the business.
