Job Summary
• This role is responsible for directing a industry and customer segment marketing team, overseeing staffing, workflow, and budget allocation, and drives strategy development within specific regions or countries. The role directs design of integrated current and future solutions offerings, leads sales support enablement, and ensures compliance with regulations. Additionally, the role participates in driving change management initiatives, monitors performance goals and performs talent management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Directs a team of industry and customer segment marketing professionals, oversees day-to-day operations including management of staffing, workflow, and budget.
• Directs the development and alignment of industry and customer segment marketing strategies, value proposition and tactics to drive awareness, consideration and purchase intent for the organization’s products, services and solutions offerings within specific regions or countries.
• Directs the design and execution of an integrated current and future solutions offerings based on internal products, services and solutions and external partner offerings.
• Oversees the creation and execution of marketing message and positioning for specific industry and customer segments.
• Leads sales support enablement to ensure sales force is fully armed with materials and messages, and manages provision technical and business assistance to sales team for targeted industry and customer segments.
• Directs the development of metrics and benchmarks to track the performance of campaigns and recommends areas for improvement.
• Directs the identification of key ecosystem partners and drives technical and business alignment by leveraging partner ecosystem.
• Ensures all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in Industry, sales and/or channel, or a related field.
