12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
As Head of Learning, you'll join our Learning, Inclusion and People Experience leadership team, reporting to the Director of Learning and Inclusion. Spanning both our Group Functions and UKI division, this is a rare, high-impact role with real strategic scope.
You'll lead a talented L&D team to design and deliver a learning strategy that drives career growth, builds critical capabilities and fuels high performance — while spearheading our push into digital learning, learning technology and AI-enabled development.
This is your opportunity to shape learning at scale: owning programmes, platforms, planning and budgets across two divisions, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver breakthrough results.
What you’ll do
Design and deliver a cross-divisional L&D strategy aligned to business priorities, building the critical capabilities needed to drive ambitious growth.
Lead the optimisation of our learning platforms (LMS/LXP), bringing hands-on technical expertise to maximise engagement, integration, reporting and learner experience at scale.
Drive our AI learning agenda — championing the adoption of AI-enabled solutions to personalise development, improve efficiency and future-proof our learning ecosystem.
Embed a high-performance culture by designing and delivering impactful programmes across all employee and leadership populations that raise the bar on individual and organisational performance.
Champion self-led learning, empowering colleagues to own their development through tailored, digitally enabled experiences on our learning platforms.
Use data and learning analytics to measure impact, inform workforce planning and continuously sharpen the effectiveness of our L&D offer.
Manage the full learning portfolio — programmes, budgets and vendor relationships — partnering with HR Operations and the global learning team to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and the wider Flutter learning community to share best practice, build talent pipelines and elevate the visibility of learning across our global Hubs.
How you’ll do it
Significant experience leading an L&D function within a complex, multi-division or global organisation, with a track record of delivering strategies that drive measurable business performance.
Hands-on expertise managing and optimising learning technology ecosystems — including LMS, LXP and digital content strategy — with proven ability to drive adoption at scale.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-enabled learning solutions to personalise and future-proof development experiences.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning budgets, managing vendors and executing programmes with pace and efficiency.
A confident, credible communicator who can influence senior stakeholders, shape decision-making through data insight and bring people along on the journey.
Skilled at building, developing and sustaining high-performing teams, with the interpersonal warmth and authenticity to connect across all levels and cultures.
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity — able to lead change and maintain focus and positivity in a fast-moving environment.
A proactive, hands-on leader with high personal integrity, a can-do attitude and the agility to operate effectively across diverse functions, geographies and cultures.
