About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Infrastructure and Infrastructure Security to lead the delivery of integrated infrastructure services for our clients, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. This strategic leadership role is responsible for managing and delivering comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networking, storage, databases, VMware, and more, all while ensuring robust security integration and compliance. You will be directly responsible for client satisfaction, the successful delivery of projects, and the long-term success of infrastructure solutions from a security and integration standpoint.
As the Head of Infrastructure and Infrastructure Security, you will lead a team that designs, integrates, and delivers secure infrastructure solutions tailored to client needs, helping to solve complex problems while safeguarding their digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client-Focused Infrastructure Delivery:
- Lead the design and delivery of integrated infrastructure services for clients, ensuring that solutions meet both business requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop customized infrastructure solutions, including servers, networking, storage, databases, and VMware, based on the client's unique needs and security requirements.
- Oversee the deployment and integration of client infrastructure systems, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimal disruptions.
Cybersecurity Integration:
- Ensure that all client infrastructure deployments are designed and implemented with a strong focus on cybersecurity, including data protection, threat management, and compliance with relevant security standards
- Proactively identify potential security risks in client infrastructure and address vulnerabilities through integrated solutions and robust security frameworks.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure cybersecurity awareness and provide recommendations for improving client security postures.
Project Management & Service Delivery:
- Lead client-facing infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Manage multiple infrastructure integration projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality, security, and performance.
- Work closely with client teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of all services.
- Implement service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure adherence to agreed-upon metrics for service delivery and performance.
Strategic Planning & Advisory:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise in infrastructure strategy, system integration, and cybersecurity to drive their IT transformation efforts.
- Help clients develop a roadmap for infrastructure scaling and security improvements, focusing on optimization and alignment with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in system integration, cloud services, and cybersecurity to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, infra SMEs to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Foster a collaborative environment where cross-functional teams work together to solve complex client problems.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development to ensure the team stays current with the latest technologies and best practices in infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure all infrastructure solutions meet compliance standards and regulations and industry-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of client infrastructures and provide mitigation strategies to reduce potential security threats.
- Lead post-incident reviews and ensure that infrastructure designs are continuously improved to enhance security and prevent future vulnerabilities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring infrastructure solutions align with their long-term objectives.
- Manage client expectations, address concerns, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the infrastructure projects.
- Regularly communicate with clients about progress, issues, and improvements, ensuring transparency and trust in the service delivery process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, VMware vSphere, ITIL, or other industry-recognized certifications in system integration and cybersecurity.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and system integration, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or client-facing role.
- Strong experience in delivering client-focused infrastructure services, with a deep understanding of servers, networking, storage, databases, VMware, and cloud integration.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity, including secure infrastructure deployment, risk management, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Excellent project management experience, including client management, solution delivery, and ensuring security and performance metrics are met.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions in a variety of industries and environments.
- Skills:
- Expertise in system integration methodologies and tools for large-scale infrastructure deployments.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks, with experience applying them to real-world infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for client-facing roles.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical solutions into clear, understandable terms for clients.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet client needs.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers and integration specialists.
