This role will support pricing for life business with emphasis on Group and Health Business.

Job Description:

(Group & Health)

  • Lead and supervise technical analyses pertaining to health products and management initiatives: experience trending, customer profiling and feasibility testing
  • Implement best practice for entire group and health work
  • Work with group business and reinsurers on group quotations
  • Perform product pricing and feasibility studies, conduct market research for product initiatives and required profit testing
  • Prepare responses to queries from regulators
  • Build statistical studies for product initiatives
  • Develop studies to investigate the adequacy of pricing assumptions
  • Drive continuous enhancement in process with the aim to improve the efficiency of the team
  • Provide management / business stakeholders with relevant recommendations / insights.
  • Be responsible for the overall pricing of health products: pricing framework, strategy and obtaining approval, including regular reviews of group quotations escalated for actuarial approval.
  • Lead a team and is accountable for the KPIs and development of the members
  • Develop department plans, controls, resources and formulate policies in area of responsibility
  • Look beyond existing solutions and own area to define/resolve complex issues in new situation

Working Experience

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in senior actuarial roles or positions

Professional Qualifications

  • Qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body

Education

  • Degree in Actuarial

Language

  • English
