The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM’s global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM’s global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently. 
At the GDC, you will: 
• Be part of a hub that ensures ERM’s business continuity worldwide. 
• Collaborate with colleagues across geographies to support global operations. 
• Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in core functions. 
• Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates. 
• Work in shifts where required, depending on the role. As processes mature and automation increases, reliance on shifts will reduce. 

Role Purpose 

The Head of Finance Operations leads the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of ERM’s global Finance Operations from the GDC. This role is responsible for operational excellence across all Finance process towers — Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Project-to-Report (P2R), Record-to-Report (R2R), and FP&A Enablement. The position partners closely with the Global Director of Finance Operations and regional Finance leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality, scalable service delivery. Responsibilities also include supporting the long-term finance operating model, building governance, and driving transformation readiness in collaboration with the GDC Ops & Transformation team. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Finance Operations delivery across all process towers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, control, and a strong customer service culture. 

  • Establish governance frameworks, SLAs, and KPI dashboards for operational consistency and transparency; report performance metrics to global stakeholders. 

  • Drive process standardization, documentation, and automation, including preparation for ERP rollout (Certinia / MS Dynamics). 

  • Collaborate with regional Finance Directors and retained teams to harmonize processes and align policies. 

  • Partner with the Global Finance Transformation and GDC Ops & Transformation teams to embed analytics, automation, and digital enablement across towers. 

  • Build leadership capability and succession plans within the Finance Ops organization; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 

  • Serve as escalation point for process or delivery issues, balancing global consistency with regional flexibility. 

Experience & Capabilities 

  • 15+ years in Finance Operations or shared-services leadership roles. 

  • Proven success in managing large-scale Finance delivery and transformation programs, including global process transitions. 

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Finance processes (P2P, O2C, P2R, R2R, FP&A) and related KPIs. 

  • Experience with ERP implementations (Certinia / MS Dynamics / SAP) and financial systems integration. 

  • Strong governance, commercial acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills. 

  • Ability to influence across cultures and functions, combining strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership. 

  • Leading a team of 200+ finance professionals
