Britomart, Auckland | Senior Leadership Role
At Westpac, we’re seeking a Head of Finance to partner with the Consumer Bank & Wealth leadership team and shape strong, sustainable commercial outcomes.
This is a senior role with real influence, combining strategic financial leadership with a collaborative, people‑focused approach. As a trusted adviser to senior leaders, you’ll deliver clear financial insight, support confident decision‑making, and lead a high‑performing finance team in an environment that values inclusion, balance, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities include:
You’ll partner with senior leaders to drive commercial and financial outcomes
Provide clear, timely financial analysis and insights across the business
Translate complex performance data into practical, actionable advice
Oversee forecasting, target setting, and financial governance
Present confidently to executive audiences, enabling strong decision‑making
Lead, coach, and grow a capable and engaged finance team

You’ll bring:
Senior‑level partnering experience in a complex, performance‑driven environment
Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence at executive level
The ability to communicate financial insights clearly to diverse audiences
Solid understanding of banking metrics, revenue and funds transfer pricing
Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams
CA (or equivalent) with significant banking experience
