We are seeking a Director of Facility Management & Security and Business Continuity to lead the Facility & Security function within Engineering & Operations Support. This role sets the strategic direction for the department, develops and executes the site-wide facility and security strategy, and oversees facility maintenance and capital projects to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient work environment.
The Director ensures quality, compliance, and operational excellence, and manages an operating budget with accountability for cost-effectiveness and delivery towards departmental goals. You will be leading a team of approximately six to eight direct reports and thirty to thirty-five indirect reports. You will report to the VP of Engineering and Operations Support who sits on Site Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Facility Management & Security and Business Continuity department and ensures delivery against goals and strategy
Oversee facility management OPEX and CAPEX projects (expansions, renovations, upgrades) aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Develop and manage the department’s operating budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with FUJIFILM´s policies and external regulatory requirements, including GMP
Track and improve performance through KPIs; develop and execute improvement plans
Prepare investment proposals supporting business continuity and growth initiatives
Drive on-time, on-budget execution of deliverables; proactively address risks to schedule, quality, and cost
Contribute cross-functionally to strategic, operational, or technical projects as needed
Lead the department through an operational excellence mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has substantial leadership and strategic experience in facility management, security and Site operations and bring strong knowledge of GMP compliance, facility management best practices, as well as a proven record of delivering complex projects and portfolios with multiple priorities and deadlines. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze complex issues, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions.
