Job Description:

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Responsibilities:

 

  • Represent Broadcom before EU government entities, including the European Parliament, DG Comp, and DG Connect, to advocate for company priorities.
  • Develop and implement political and policy strategies that align company business objectives with EU principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with European third parties and partners to demonstrate how Broadcom’s software and hardware portfolios enhance European sovereignty.
  • Leverage existing professional networks to enhance Broadcom’s relationships with regulators.
  • Provide guidance to navigate the political landscape within Brussels and various EU member states.
  • Lead engagement with industry trade groups to identify strategic opportunities and mitigate policy and political risks.


Qualifications:
 

  • 10–15 years of experience working with EU regulatory authorities, including a deep understanding of internal processes and procedures at DG Comp.
  • Over 10 years of experience within the technology sector.
  • Established relationships within the EU regulatory community (and especially DG Comp).
  • Proven ability to provide strategic political guidance within the EU regulatory community and the European Parliament.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Brussels area to work from the local office.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a global schedule, including meetings with California-based executives on Pacific Standard Time (PST).
  • Must work well cross functionally.
