For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future – what matters is how we produce them. Become a part of us and drive change for generations to come.

Your Opportunity

As Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will serve as the strategic architect of Boliden’s digital future. You will define the enterprise-wide technology blueprint that enables our long-term business ambitions, operational excellence, and sustainability leadership. This is a senior role with significant influence, where your decisions will shape how Boliden evolves, innovates, and competes in a rapidly changing industrial landscape.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our technology investments, platforms, and capabilities form a coherent, secure, and future-ready foundation for the entire Boliden Group.

Who You Will Work With

You will be a key member of the IT leadership team and a trusted advisor to senior executives across the organization. Your work will span strategic planning, major transformation programs, and cross-functional initiatives across our mines, smelters, and corporate functions.

You will lead and develop architectural governance forums and a network of domain and solution architects across the organisation and collaborate closely with business leaders, technology owners, and program managers to ensure alignment, clarity, and long-term value creation.

What You Will Do

  • Define and own Boliden’s enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and governance model.

  • Shape long-term technology direction in alignment with business strategy, sustainability goals, and operational priorities.

  • Establish architectural principles, standards, and decision frameworks that guide technology investments and lifecycle management.

  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and their relevance to Boliden’s future roadmap and competitiveness.

  • Ensure architectural coherence across complex environments, balancing innovation with stability, security, and cost efficiency.

  • Act as a senior advisor to executives, contributing to strategic planning, risk management, and major investment decisions.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture leadership roles within complex, multi-site or global organizations.

  • A strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate long-term business objectives into actionable architectural direction.

  • Deep understanding of modern technology landscapes, including cloud, integration, data platforms, cybersecurity, and operational technology.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop senior architectural talent and influence decision-making at executive level.

  • Demonstrated experience driving large-scale transformation or modernization programs.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build trust.

  • Experience from industrial, manufacturing, or asset-heavy environments is an advantage.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architecture) are beneficial but not required.
