We are building a premium, drop-based eCommerce business designed to create culturally relevant moments, deepen fandom, and deliver differentiated member value. This is not a traditional always-on store.
As Head of eCommerce, you will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and P&L for this business. You’ll orchestrate merchandising, vendors, marketing, operations, and the site experience to deliver high-quality, high-impact drops that drive excitement, exclusivity, and commercial performance.
A core part of the role is staying ahead of consumer product and apparel trends, translating emerging aesthetics, materials, and cultural signals into compelling drops that resonate with fans and reinforce a premium position.
In the early phase, production will be supported by white-label vendors, while your team retains full ownership of product direction, timelines, quality, brand integrity, and results.
This role requires strong commercial judgment, operational discipline, creative taste, and cultural fluency.
In the role of Head of eCommerce, you will report to the Executive Vice President, Emerging Business.
We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Los Angeles.
We get excited about candidates, like you, because you combine commercial ownership, creative instinct, and operational rigor—and know how to turn all three into a scalable business.

This specialized group manages the entire product lifecycle, from initial product development and buying to the final stages of site merchandising and warehouse/fulfillment. While the eCommerce unit operates with significant autonomy to drive direct-to-consumer revenue, it remains deeply integrated within the broader Crunchyroll ecosystem to align with global brand and content strategies. As a key pillar of the company's "flywheel" business model, the team collaborates across streaming, marketing, and engineering to maximize subscriber lifetime value.
In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:
