Join us in launching a newly formed centralised Content CoE (Centre of Excellence) operation, responsible for delivering the highest quality creative output & mass-producing all D2C content required for the whole European region.

Role and Responsibilities

What Will This Role Achieve?

The main purpose of this role is to establish & manage and act as the operational backbone of the new European centralised Content Coe. The Head of D2C Content will be the main liaison between Suwon Office, EU16 Subsidiaries & the Content CoE appointed agency. This role will be responsible for ensuring content processes, quality standards & governance frameworks are aligned and delivered to the highest standard.

Your key responsibilities

  • CoE Leadership

    • Set up and lead a scalable, European centralised content COE that supports all European D2C channels, delivering creative excellence and a premium brand experience.

    • Align content creation & operations processes & workflows with the agency, Suwon Office and EU16 subsidiaries ensuring SLAs are hit and KPIs are achieved.

    • Manage the newly formed Content CoE (circa 80 people), ensuring each of the 3 teams (Content Creation, Content Operations & Chertsey Studio) are performing to the highest standard.

    • Manage the Content CoE budget & Contract, continuously identifying areas for efficiency & optimisation.

                        

·Creative Direction & Governance

  • Ownership & governance of the creative output of the Content CoE, ensuring the highest level of creative is delivered.

  • Align all content, accessibility, shop app and S.com guidelines with the relevant teams in Suwon, ensuring that the CoE is 100% compliant to guidelines at all times.

  • Ensure creative direction, tone of voice & brand guidelines are applied consistently across all content produced.

  • Keep up to date with emerging media, technological & cultural trends, keeping the brand at the forefront of creative innovation.

  • Build frameworks to measure content effectiveness & continuously optimise creative output.

·Stakeholder Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for the appointed CoE agency (Content creation, content operations & Chertsey Studio).

  • Act as point of escalation for subsidiaries.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with the agency PMO to review processes, resolve bottlenecks & drive efficiency (Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly)

  • Oversee agency adherence to SLAs, KPIs & quality standards.

  • Provide consolidated feedback from Suwon office and EU16 subsidiaries to the agency to improve CoE output

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between markets to promote best practices and re-use of content

  • Present regular performance updates to senior leadership

  • Partner with local market PICs to capture all sub requirements, campaign calendars & feedback.

  • Create, implement and continuously optimise the briefing templates required for JIRA briefing.

  • Design GSMC folder structure for all workflows and continuously monitor usage and optimise where necessary.

  • Work with the agency on a continuous basis to identify and implement AI efficiency tools into the standard processes.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience and/or Degree education in business, marketing, sales

  • Experience in content, creative strategy or brand storytelling, ideally within a D2C operation

  • Proven track record of developing engaging and premium content and marketing assets that drive engagement and conversion

  • Deep understanding of digital culture, social platforms & the evolving media landscape

  • Exceptional creative judgment with the ability to balance brand storytelling with commercial objectives

  • Strong leadership skills with experience scaling large teams & building cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong understanding of content governance, workflows & localisation requirements

  • Excellent project management & process optimisation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple geographies

  • Organised, structured and calm under pressure

  • Experience in a fast paced, multi division, global company

  • Ambitious and progressive, proactive and willing to work outside comfort zone
