The Head of Content Strategy and Messaging is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our commercial priorities and enhances corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership. This role will lead the creation, distribution and co-ordination of content and channels. The Head of Content Strategy and Messaging will ensure consistency, impact, and alignment with Deloitte’s commercial priorities. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys the challenge of combining project management, strategic focus and working with colleagues to consistently land compelling content.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Experience optimising content for multiple formats and channels (digital, print, video, social media, etc.)

  • Substantial progressive experience in content strategy, corporate communications, marketing, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing content strategies at enterprise level

  • A project management qualification is desirable

  • Proven track record of leading content teams and managing cross-functional projects


 

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Deloitte’s commercial priorities.

  • Define content pillars, themes, and messaging frameworks that support business goals and stakeholder engagement

  • Establish content governance, standards, and quality assurance processes across all channels and formats

  • Identify emerging trends, audience needs, and competitive landscape shifts to keep strategy current and relevant

  • Develop integrated distribution strategies that maximise reach and engagement across owned, earned, and paid channels

  • Create and maintain clear, compelling messaging architecture that reflects  positioning

  • Develop key messages and conversation guides for executives, board members, and spokespeople – ensure consistency of voice and messaging across all channels

  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for content strategy and messaging effectiveness

  • Track and report on content performance, audience engagement, and business impact

  • Use AI, Data and technology to maximise your reach and impact

Who is the Hiring Manager?

The hiring manager is the Director of Corporate Affairs. The Corporate Affairs team is responsible for earned media, digital, social media and economic insights. The working style within the team is close-knit and highly productive, team members are specialists in their own disciplines but they must be naturally collaborative to succeed in this role.

Where is this role based?

This role will be based in Dublin, we operate a hybrid model with a mixture of days spent in the office and remote.
