Head of Commercial | Blue Care

BlueCare is seeking an exceptional Head of Commercial to shape our commercial strategy, strengthen long-term sustainability, and drive value across our aged care, community and health services.
In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic commercial insight, lead pricing and revenue optimisation, oversee supplier and contract management, and guide major investment and business decisions. You’ll work closely with the EGM Strategy & Transformation, EGM Operations, and senior stakeholders to influence organisational direction and support key transformation initiatives.
In this role you will:
Drive Commercial strategy, pricing, revenue optimisation and financial modelling
Develop Strategic frameworks, business cases and investment evaluations
Lead Horizon scanning and environmental analysis to anticipate sector shifts and opportunities
Manage supplier partnerships, contract governance and market‑led proposals
Lead enterprise‑wide commercial insights for Executive and Board decision‑making
Manage a high‑performing commercial team that thrives on collaboration, capability and impact
What makes a difference for us?
Tertiary qualification in business economics, commerce or a related field.
Significant experience working in a senior leadership role accountable for delivering commercial and value for money outcomes
Highly developed commercial, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including comprehensive financial and statistical analysis skills
Extensive experience in dynamic change environments, with ability to work with key stakeholders across large geographical areas
Excellent communication and engagement skills and ability to balance provision of support, advice and direction appropriately
Understanding of how to establish appropriate targets for various parts of the business that are relevant and will drive appropriate behaviour and results
Efficient in policy and process development
Effective in decision making and strategic management and positive proactive approach
Experience working in a Top Tier Consulting firm
Understanding of the Not-for-Profit Business (i.e. financial and external levers)
Satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or organisational policy.
In accordance with requirements outlined by the ACQSC and / or the NDIS this role is considered as Key Personnel. You will be required to meet key suitability criteria and complete additional compliance measures.
