You'll co-own the development and management of Group wide HR content, guidance and propositions that support colleagues and leaders across the organisation. You'll be responsible Group wide for our non reward HR policy standards; flexible working standards including hybrid working, family propositions, sickness and absence standards, holiday and leave arrangements, redundancy policy standard etc. In addition to our standards you'll also be accountable for the employment contracts across the Group.
You'll lead a team of innovators and technical experts based across our UK hubs. The team sits within the Culture, Leadership & Talent team in People & Places.
Key Priority Areas for 2026

Designing healthy, structured exit pathways for colleagues ready for life after LBG including a bridge to retirement and/or for those pivoting into new careers.
Transforming our E2E enterprise experience for sickness, absence and other types of leave.
Leading our readiness and implementation of Employment Rights Act changes, building on the responsibility for change assessment, consultation and regulatory alignment. With particular focus on unfair dismissal, probation, protections for pregnant employees and flexible working. You'll co-ordinate activities across the Group throughout 2026 and 2027 including lobbying and collaborating with Government, CBI and UKTI, chairing Steering, attending RiskCo and ExCo to provide regular updates and risk assessments as well as delivering tangible colleague change.
Day to Day Responsibilities

You’ll help set direction, coach teams, allocate work to must win priorities, collaborate and ensure alignment with goals and Group strategy.
How You Will Lead
