The Role

Addepar is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead our Core and Strategic client verticals. This is a high-visibility leadership position responsible for the post-sales health of our most vital market segments. You will oversee a multi-tiered organization, managing the leaders who drive success for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Family Offices, and Private Banks.

Few roles have such a direct impact on Addepar’s growth. You will be the architect of a "trusted advisor" culture, ensuring our clients drive measurable ROI from the platform. By partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering, you will help shape the next generation of wealth management technology while ensuring an excellent experience for our global partners.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $177,000 - $276,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Leaders - Direct a team of managers and Client Success Managers supporting a diverse portfolio. You are responsible for developing leadership bench strength, capacity planning, and hiring in partnership with Talent.
  • Vertical Strategy - Drive strong adoption, satisfaction, and renewal outcomes across Core (RIAs/MFOs) and Strategic (Single-Family Offices/Private Banks) segments. You will define the differentiated playbooks required for each.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership - Collaborate with Sales, Services, Product, and Support to deliver a seamless "One-Addepar" experience across the entire client lifecycle.
  • Architect Success at Scale - Drive consistent success planning and clear KPIs. You will ensure your organization is proactively consulting on best practices to maximize platform utilization.
  • Executive Stewardship - Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues and lead high-stakes, executive-level conversations, including QBRs and strategic renewals.
  • Voice of the Client - Gather and synthesize feedback from your verticals to provide actionable insights to our Product and Engineering teams, helping to improve the platform and client experience.

Who You Are 

  • Experienced Leader - 12+ years in client-facing roles (CSM, Account Management, or Consulting) with experience managing other people managers.
  • FinTech/SaaS Fluent - You have experience working with complex or technical products. Background in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or FinTech is a significant advantage.
  • Strategic & Resilient - You are comfortable operating in a high-growth, evolving environment and have a proven ability to lead teams through change and ambiguity.
  • Executive Presence - You are a strong communicator with the sound judgment required to sit across from C-suite executives at major financial institutions.
  • Mission-Driven - You use your expertise to consult on best practices and refuse to give up until our clients succeed.
  • Willingness to Travel - You are ready to meet clients where they are to build stronger partnerships (as needed)
